Residence Hall Association > About Us > Get Involved

There are three ways to get involved with RHA:

1. RHA Executive Board

RHA has its own executive board consisting of President, Vice President, NCC, Secretary, Treasurer, two Social Chairs, and a Technical Chair. RHA Exec members receive senior standing in housing and must remain in a residence hall until the end of their term.

Important dates:

January 22, 2007 @9PM Scott Hall Conference Room - RHA Board Information Session

February 1, 2007 - Deadline for submission (to current Vice President, by 10AM)

February 5, 2007 @7:30PM Scott Hall Conference Room - Elections with all of the RHA board

February 5 ~ End of quarter - Transition period

More details to come regarding executive member positions details soon...!

For the application, here. Election information will be emailed from your hall presidents during Winter quarter.

Please direct all questions regarding elections to the current Vice President. (Contact Us)

2. Hall Government

Your hall government is elected around the end of Winter Quarter. Positions are President, Social Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, but sometimes change to match the need of the hall you live in. Once you are elected, you have to live in the hall from then until the next winter quarter. Once you are elected a hall government member, the housing office sorts you as a senior standing student and you will be able to select a room of your choice in your residence hall on a senior-standing status.

3. RHA Senator

Becoming a senator is simple. You just have to sign, talk, and get voted! Below are the different districts:

1: Bobb-McCulloch   2: Sargent       3: Elder/Himan-Lincoln      4: Allison      5: 1835 Himan

6: Foster-Walker      7: Kemper/Goodrich/584 Lincoln              8: Transfer/Foster/Lindgren

9: Healthy Living Unit/Interfaith Housing Unit/Sigma Alpha Iota/1856 Orrington/Phi Mu Alpha

10: South Mid Quads/North Mid-Quad/Rogers House

One senator will be elected from each district. You represent that district from now until the end of your term. (Next Spring)
